All-Star Mortgages is owned and run by husband & wife duo, Byron & Melody Fillingim. Byron, a native of Mobile, AL, graduated from the University of Mobile, where he received a Bachelor of Science while playing baseball for the Rams. He has been working in the mortgage industry since 2018. He has in-depth experience with FHA, USDA, VA and Conventional loans. He is happy to answer any questions that you may have and will be able to walk you through each step of the process from Pre-Approval to Closing.

Byron graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School, where he was a 4-year football and baseball player. He is very active in the community and is the Children's Church Pastor at The Vision Church in Chickasaw. Byron married Melody in July 2017 and they reside in Saraland, AL.

A native of Tallahassee, FL, Melody also graduated from the University of Mobile in 2012 with a degree in Accounting. She went on to obtain her Master's in Business Administration from Piedmont College in 2014. Melody returned to the University of Mobile as an Assistant Volleyball Coach in 2019, and will help start the new UM Beach Volleyball Program for the 2020-2021 season.

Melody is the owner and operator of All-Star Realty. All-Star Mortgages and All-Star Realty provide a one-stop shop for homebuyers. Consumers can now have help navigating the real estate market, finding a home, and have assistance throughout the whole process, while being confident in the financial aspects.

With over ten years of experience in leadership, coaching and administrative work, Melody has built several athletic programs and several small businesses. She is the owner and club director of Southern Elite Volleyball Club, a volleyball club in the North Mobile area. She is a board member of the Florida Independent Christian Athletic Association, and enjoys traveling around speaking and/or leading worship at Christian events, churches, and camps.
